Advantages and disadvantages of vacuum packaging bag made by composite technology
Composite vacuum packaging bag refers to the combination of two or several films with different barrier properties by a certain process. In this way, to reach the inside of the package, the permeable molecules have to pass through several layers of membrane, which is equivalent to extending the permeable path, thus improving the barrier performance. This method is a kind of composite film with excellent comprehensive properties, which combines the advantages of all kinds of films. Its process is simple. However, compared with the intrinsic high barrier materials, the film prepared by this method is thicker, and it is easy to have problems such as bubbles or cracking folds that affect the barrier performance. Moreover, the equipment requirements are relatively complex and the cost is high.
Composite vacuum bags are often used in solid and powder packaging. When heavy contents are impacted instantaneously (such as falling), there is a higher requirement for sealing strength. Considering from the aspect of material structure, only improving the tensile strength can not solve the problem. It seems that the tear strength of material can significantly improve the impact strength.
